Christmas Is Finally Over!

We had our final two Christmases this weekend!! Christmas day we got up and had Christmas together and then went over to my grandmas for my family Christmas!!

We had some yummy food and then opened presents. This year we decided to do Secret Santas instead of buying for everyone! It was pretty fun! My cousin Luke got me (aka his step mom Jenn lol) so I got a super cute new purse!! Me and my mom both got 2 new purses this year...we each got one from our hubby then our Secret Santas (She had Jenn as hers) so we have lots of purses to share now.

Sunday we had our final Christmas with Mike's dads side. We opened presents and we got some perfume/cologne, he got a gift card for tools and some scratch off tickets and I got a small coach purse. We also got a few other scratch off tickets & about $50 bucks. Then we headed to Applebee's for a late lunch/ early supper. It was really good...although our waitress was HORRIBLE...she walked past us probably 3 times before even coming over to take our drink order!!

This Christmas season was so wonderful and I'm looking forward to so many more!! And I am SO excited for the new year!! I'm gonna head to bed now, I'll post some pictures later!!

Christmas #3

So, I'm really bad at remembering things haha! So many funny things were said while we were opening presents and I remember until another funny thing is said and then I forget the one before! It's so annoying!! lol
But Mike's family can be so hilarious!
Mike and his brother got some summer sausage so there were lots of comments about whose was bigger! His grandma said she had had enough about sausage haha! And they ever had some sausage wars!
Mikes nephew is sooo funny too, he said "they are gonna go have fun" talking about Mike's brother and his girlfriend. And then a little bit later he opens the door and their aunts dog was outside and he turns around to all of us and goes "what do I do when it sniffs my sack". Kids say the darndest things! There were SO many more things that made me laugh and that were so funny but thank you horrible memory I don't remember them!!
I guess I just need to walk around with a pen and paper all the time to make notes about what people say!

Mikes mom got me some TOMS shoes! I was SO excited I've really been wanting a pair. If you don't know what TOMS shoes are, they are super awesome shoes and every pair of shoes you buy from them they give a pair away to a kid that doesn't have any shoes!! Makes me wanna buy like 50 pairs!! you can go to their website to check them out!!

We got some other cool stuff too that I will talk about later but it's late and I need to go to bed or Santa isn't gonna come to my house!!! lol

Christmas #2

Nana and TruettMy Uncles Christmas tree.

Tonight we had Christmas at my uncles and it was a lot of fun!! We had yummy food (chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, rolls, and then my uncle made some prime rib!) Everyone has lots of food and got stuffed. We mostly just sat around and talked! We all got to talk to my moms little brother and sister (my aunt and uncle) that we don't really see very often cause they don't live here so that was nice!!

Oh and we can't forget that my grandma thought I had been lying to her and that I was pregnant!! I was like GRANDMA I AM NOT PREGNANT...she is such a nut sometimes lol.

Overall it was a nice Christmas!!

Christmas #1

So last night we had our first Christmas! We ate, opened our stockings (in which I got a super cute rubber watch that the inside is Zebra!, a zebra dress form necklace holder, some pampered chef knives, a breast cancer ribbon bracelet, and Zebra ear muffs, which I LOVE). Then we headed downstairs to open our presents! Everyone got lots of cool stuff. We always open presents youngest to oldest, so my nephew was first. We thought this year he would tear into his presents...he wanted NOTHING to do with opening his presents! He got lots of clothes from Nana and Poppy (my parents) and we got him a piggy bank a hat and mittens a shirt and these little stackable things. His most FAVORITE thing though was the tent that Nana and Poppy got him, I'll show you a few videos of that at the end! He loves to be chased after too as you can see in the videos!!! It was lots of fun, but ONLY the beginning of all our Christmases this year!! We are hoping that next year Truett will actually be interested in opening his presents himself!

5 Christmas'

So I might have somethings to actually show after this week is up!! Starting tomorrow we start our Christmas Madness!! Tomorrow we have Christmas with my parents, brother, sister in law and my super awesome nephew! Then Thursday with my uncle, Friday with my Husbands mom's side, Christmas day with my hubby then the afternoon at my Grandmas with my awesome family, and then last but not least on Sunday with my Husbands dad's side!!! So I should have some pics to show, maybe a video and hopefully some stories!!! Ah I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!! It definitely is the most wonderful time of the year, it's always so crazy but it's SO much fun!!! I just can't wait till we have our own kiddos to share it with!!! Well I'm off to bed, gotta get up early in the morning!!

Bed Head Brunette Goddess (also love Dumb Blonde by them too, love Bed Head stuff period!!!

My camera!! It's a Panasonic DMC-FZ18!! I love love LOVE it!! My hubby got it for me a couple years ago!!


Cetaphil Facial Cleanser - I first used the liquid of this, then I used the bar, I love the liquid SO much more!! It works pretty good!! And it's a lot less expensive than a lot of stuff.

L'oreal TrueMatch Foundation - This stuff is AWESOME, I heard about this stuff along time ago but never tried it until I started watching Kandee Johnsons Youtube, she is a super amazing and sweet make up artist, definitely worth checking out!!!


Oil of Olay Creme Ribbons Body Wash - Oh man this stuff feels SO good going on your skin, it's so creamy and awesome haha, and it smells really good too!! I always use this in the winter cause my skin gets soooo dry!!

And last but not least........
Ipod Touch - I LOVE this thing!!! My hubby got it for me for my wedding present and I am seriously obsessed with it!! I have a little obsession with downloading random free apps just to see what they are!! It's so awesome, you should definitely get one!!

New Year, New Me (Hopefully)

So I've decided I'm gonna try to make some changes in 2011
Things I'm going to try to do:

1. Eat Better
2. Exercise more
3. Wash my face EVERY night
4. Maybe create a bucket list!

I'm SO excited for 2011 and what it's going to bring!! Hopefully lots of exciting things will happen (maybe even babies, constantly convincing the hubby on this one :D) So we shall see but I know 2011 is going to be AWESOME

Ok, so I'm gonna try this whole blogging thing, I have NO idea how it will go because honestly, I don't think I'm very interesting. You would think being a newlywed that I would have some interesting things to talk about but...I don't!! So we will see how this whole thing turns out. Maybe I will make it a blog about the crazy things my husband says because, honestly, he says some of the crazy most off the wall stuff. So there ya go....let's see how this little adventure goes!!
