So I've been needing some pants that fit because most of mine no longer fit, I found some at Gordmans and before I even wore one pair of them the belt thing on it broke so back they went. Then I wore the other pair of friday and they had a belt thing too and it drove me nuts so they went back too! So I went to Burlington Coat Factory this weekend and hit the major jackpot! I got all of this for about 30 bucks! The shirt on the far left & both pairs of pants were $2.98 each!! $2.98 for maternity jeans!! NUTS! lol and the other two shirts were $9.99 each (yea all three of those others were cheaper than ONE shirt lol)

22 Weeks

How far along? 22 Weeks

Total weight gain: 5 lbs
Maternity clothes? Only one pair of pants for work, definitely using the hair tie trick for my jeans lol
Stretch marks? Not yet :)
Baby bump? I definitely think you can tell now
Sleep: Depends on the night, but most nights I cannot find a comfortable position!
Best moment this week: I was lying in bed and I felt him moving around so I was touching my stomach kind of pushing on it to feel him and he moved from that side to the other, guess he didn't like me pushing on him! lol it was the coolest, funniest weirdest thing ever!
Miss Anything? Cookie dough :(
Movement: Oh yes! All the time!!
Food cravings: Definitely still chocolate, and my darn thin mint girl scout cookies!! lol and chips and salsa
Anything making you queasy or sick: Just smells

Looking forward to: Still looking forward to starting the nursery! Hopefully we will get started on that next weekend, hubby has some prep work to do to it before we can start painting so he should hopefully get that done tomorrow! And also excited to go register! Think I might do that next friday!!

Isolated EIF

Yea, I had no idea what that meant either until I looked it up. Isolated EIF stands for an Isolated isolated echogenic focus.
When I had my sonogram the doctor saw an Isolated EIF on Brody's heart, I've done (or tried at least) to do some research on it since my doctor told me that just to see what it was all about but most of the information I find makes absolutely no sense to me! My doctor did tell me that they see this in healthy babies so as long as everything else is normal and he is growing fine that she doesn't worry about it but at my 28 week appointment I will have another sonogram to check on it again.
I actually just found a good article on this! It says that and EIF is seen in 1 out of every 20-30 pregnancies. And EIF can be associated with Downs Sydrome but that is not true in all studies. It actually kind of made me laugh when I told my mom about it, she was looking stuff up on it too and an EIF is more common in Asian people, she asked me if I was Asian lol, I said I don't know, am I? lol The good thing is that it more than likely won't cause any long term health problems or heart problems for babies who it's seen in (not that we would love him any less if it did).
Needless to say when my doctor told me about this I was a little freaked out, and I was at that appointment by myself! But I'm ok with it and can't wait for my 28 week sonogram so we can see how he is doing and of course I am so excited to get to see him again! I am going to try to either scan or take pictures of the ultra sound pictures soon so I can show them to everyone!

21 Weeks

Total weight gain: I think about 5 lbs
Maternity clothes? Had to go buy some new pants last night, didn't buy maternity ones just some without buttons that will stretch!!
Stretch marks? Not yet :)
Baby bump? Yup, pretty sure you can tell
Sleep: Depends on the night, but most nights I cannot find a comfortable position!
Best moment this week: Today I got his room all cleaned out so now it is ready to be painted (after hubby fills in all the holes in the wall for me!)
Miss Anything? Buttoning my pants!! lol
Movement: Oh yes!
Food cravings: Chocolate all the time still!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Just smells

And NOW I will announce little mans name! I had a few names that I liked but the whole time I really thought it was going to be a girl so I had not even really thought of boy names! All the names that I suggested to hubby he didn't like (but he also had no ideas himself!! lol) so finally one day on my lunch break I text him a couple names I liked and we finally agreed on one, and then one we agreed on is..............
Brody
I am so glad he finally has a name and that I don't have to say "the baby" all the time lol and I feel like I can do more now that he has a name! lol

Kicks

So I have been feeling the baby (I will reveal his name in my 21 week post!) kick for probably a week or so maybe a little longer, last night he was kicking me so I was feeling to see if you could feel it on the outside too and you could! We were at my parents house so they got to feel him kick and so did Hubby for the first time, they all thought it was pretty cool! Definitely a cool thing to get to experience and goodness does it make it even more real that there is something in there!!

20 Weeks

How far along? 20 Weeks

Total weight gain: Finally up 2 lbs from my original weight!!
Maternity clothes? Still just one pair of pants, think I need some new clothes though and maybe a bellyband!
Stretch marks? Not yet :)
Baby bump? I think you can definitely tell now!
Sleep: Sucks...that is all lol
Best moment this week: Well actually last week but finding out what we were having and getting and armoire for the room!
Miss Anything? Sleep, cookie dough
Movement: Definitely think I feel a little bit of movement now
Food cravings: Still chocolate! Definitely had chocolate long johns and chocolate milk friday for breakfast :)
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really, just bad smells
Gender: Well Hubby got his wish, IT'S A BOY! We are very excited!
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Headaches sometimes but not near as bad as they were.

Happy or Moody most of the time: I don't think I've been as mood actually :)
